Within initial research, we were able to see that the data that there was next to zero traffic on their site. The content was unclear and lacked the focus to embrace their buyer persona.
Flexpod was looking for a site rebuild that showcased their new product “Flexpod SF. All communications need to be realigned to promote this relaunch across multiple digital platforms.

“Identifying buyer personas and all the reasons why they don’t buy from you and why they buy from a competitor is mission critical to a successful process and a final product.”

On-site and Along The Process

This was a large project that included gathering data from current customers that fell into current customers that had the option of being upsold with a base familiarity with NetApp and Cisco products already. Secondly, new customers that had no exposure to the Flexpod product base.  Be for we started even with sketches we began with a solid research base provided by H.E.O. methodologies.  It allowed us to truly get to know the needs of the potential customer both before and after the sale. The process also allowed us to gather a wide-based of understanding of the industry from the particular nitch of the Flexpod company.

The size of the team assigned to assist in the development of this project swelled at different times. Talent and ideas could not be allowed to run rampant. Early on teams were assigned and the project was run under an agile product management framework. Revisions were limited but balanced by an initial swell of ideas in our brainstorming sessions followed by implementation of Kanban boards during all group brainstorming meetings. Combined we were able to streamline the wireframing and prototyping process down to a simplified flow. This process allowed us to commonly only need 1-2 revisions per step verse 3 revisions on every step.

Prototyping was completed using Sketch. This platform provides a robust and an easy to revise environment while showing an almost live interactive site before your soft launch. (not shown) This project required weaving in elements of the customer journey into almost of the new flow of the new site and associated content assets.
